WALLY MONK – Paint Monk’s Library Editor-In-Chief

The mysterious, cloaked figure of the Paint Monk is a testament to his reclusive nature. Deep in the depths of an ancient monastery library, he carefully reads and stores the sequential art of days long past through today.

Wally dubbed himself “Paint Monk” because as a child, he enjoyed painting metal miniatures for fantasy role-playing games (badly). As an adult, he is a member of a Roman Catholic religious community, who enjoys reading an occasional comic book in his limited spare time.

He maintains Paint Monk’s Library as his primary hobby, with the able assistance of three volunteer writers and editors for whom he is eternally grateful.

Before becoming a religious, Wally worked for over a decade in print journalism, manufacturing leadership, and local politics. He is grateful to God for his primary vocation today, helping the marginalized in communities in the United States in accordance with his faith and beliefs.
